This is a more complex question than meets the eye. 1, First off there is no record of Jesus ever being sick as we get sick.
> We have many years that we have no account of what was happening in Jesus’ life.
> The Word looks at the preparation for the birth of the Savior.
> The birth and some of the events surrounding the few years around His birth.
• His circumcision.
• The words given to Mary concerning His life.
• The visit of the wise men.
• His being moved into Egypt for protection from Herod.
• His return from Egypt.
• His pilgrimage to Jerusalem at the age of 12.
• His baptism at 30.
> There is a lot of gaps here that we can not fill in with Scripture.
Now what do I think? In my opinion He walked in divine health.
> He was the perfect example of what we can be if we walk in the redemption He provided.
Hebrews 4:15
15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without
Sin brought death into the world we live.
> Man was created to live forever in his natural body.
> When sin entered the picture then death was the final eventuality for mankind.
> Sickness and disease is death in progress – save divine intervention illness’ end is the grave.
> Jesus was tempted in all ways without sin – the absents of sin I believe is the absents of its results.
I Believe In The Redeeming of Sinful Humanity Jesus Experienced Death And All Death’s Effects.
Hebrews 2:9
9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
TASTE Gr. Geu-om-ai geuomai
To taste – saver of – to experience of [good or evil].
Jesus fully experienced the penalty of sinful flesh – death so we in turn could experience heaven.
> I believe once Jesus submitted Himself to the cross – every sin – ever disease and illness – every mental sickness was placed upon Him.
Isa 53:4-6
4 Surely He has borne our griefs – sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses – and carried our sorrows and pain [of punishment]. Yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].
5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.
6All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has made to light on Him the guilt and iniquity of us all. [ 1 Pet. 2:24-25. ] AMP
